Job summary
A luxury beauty brand is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to lead and deliver marketing initiatives across the UK and Ireland. This role requires a proven marketing professional with strong leadership, analytical skills, and digital marketing experience. You will work with retailers and internal teams to elevate brand presence and execute successful marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in trade marketing and a passion for luxury beauty.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in trade marketing or related fields.
- Proven track record in executing marketing strategies for luxury brands.
- Ability to manage budgets and analyze performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver marketing plans for the UK and Ireland.
- Manage sampling initiatives and consumer engagement strategies.
- Define marketing strategies for retailer activations.
- Support in negotiating trade marketing packages.
- Monitor and analyze marketing budgets.
Skills
As Trade Marketing Manager, you’ll take charge of planning and delivering engaging marketing initiatives that drive performance and elevate brand presence. You’ll work closely with retailers, internal teams and senior leaders to make a real impact on the market.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver end-to-end marketing plans for the UK and Ireland, from planning and execution to performance monitoring and reporting.
- Manage sampling initiatives, Gift With Purchase (GWP) programmes, events and CRM/consumer engagement strategies.
- Define and implement marketing strategies for retailer activations across online and offline channels.
- Support the Head of Marketing and PR in negotiating trade marketing packages and building strong retailer relationships.
- Manage, monitor and analyse marketing budgets, investments and promotions to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
- Lead and develop the e-retail executive and marketing & consumer engagement executive to achieve commercial goals.
- Report directly to the Head of Marketing and PR and deputise as needed.
We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded marketing professional who thrives on delivering results. You’ll be a confident leader with a passion for luxury beauty, able to bring fresh ideas and a strategic approach to every project.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Proven ability to plan strategically in the short, medium and long term.
- Skilled in influencing and collaborating across teams and retailers.
- Analytical mindset with experience using financial, market and category data to inform actions.
- Proactive and adaptable with strong digital marketing knowledge across multi-channel retail.
- Experienced in negotiating trade marketing plans and managing budgets.
- Excellent understanding of retail, social media, CRM, loyalty programmes and paid digital media.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Ireland.
