We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a large, well-established manufacturer operating at the forefront of FMCG. Employing over 300 people on site, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop within a fast-paced and innovative engineering environment.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you\'ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production equipment across the site. This position requires a proactive and driven individual who can fault find, maintain, and improve equipment performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance routines.
- Diagnosing faults and delivering corrective actions on a wide range of equipment.
- Supporting shift teams with investigations into downtime, process, and quality issues.
- Acting as incident coordinator during major breakdowns.
- Taking ownership of materials and costs associated with engineering duties.
- Supporting engineering projects and contributing to safety, productivity, and quality improvements.
- Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent (time-served candidates considered).
- 17th Edition (or later) qualification.
- Experience with single and three-phase systems, motors, controllers, and PLCs.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and fault-find down to PCB level.
- Some knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic systems, or CAD would be advantageous.
- Salary: £40,500 - £42,000 per year.
- Overtime: Time and a half (including Sundays at enhanced rates).
- Shifts: Double Days (rotating early and late shifts).
