- Monitoring and analysing stock levels and outstanding orders, providing regular updates to management.
- Communicating with suppliers to obtain timely information on product availability and resolve order queries.
- Working with branch teams to address internal and external stock issues.
- Highlighting shortages and potential supply challenges to the Product Team.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports summarising stock and order status.
- Maintaining and update databases to support accurate stock control.
- Managing changes to product codes and reconcile back orders.
- Supporting the wider stock control team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong numerical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Knowledge of vehicles is an advantage, but not essential.
- A proactive and organised approach to problem-solving.
