Permanent opportunity for an Expeditor and Data Analyst based in Aberdeen. This role involves supporting stock control and data analysis across a busy distribution environment, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient operations. Ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative approach.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Monitoring and analysing stock levels and outstanding orders, providing regular updates to management.
  • Communicating with suppliers to obtain timely information on product availability and resolve order queries.
  • Working with branch teams to address internal and external stock issues.
  • Highlighting shortages and potential supply challenges to the Product Team.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports summarising stock and order status.
  • Maintaining and update databases to support accurate stock control.
  • Managing changes to product codes and reconcile back orders.
  • Supporting the wider stock control team with ad hoc tasks as required.
Applicants to this role require
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong numerical skills.

  • Knowledge of vehicles is an advantage, but not essential.
