Are you a recent UK based university graduate with a passion for mental health and a desire to gain 1:1 Pastoral Support Coach experience supporting children with complex SEMH issues?

Perhaps you’re currently considering your options after finishing university, but would value the opportunity to gain first-hand Pastoral support based experience in Widnes?

In this role as a Pastoral Support Coach, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 support to Year 11 students struggling with SEMH issues for the remainder of the academic year. The successful candidate will be providing 1:1 support based outside of the classroom placing an impetus on their academic weak points.

• Pastoral Support Coach
• Providing 1:1 support to Year 11 students with SEMH needs
• Creating tailored academic support outside of classroom environment
• Being consistent supportive figure during academic year
• Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
• Located in Widnes (WA8)
• Monday to Friday role at one school for remainder of academic year
• Paid £475 per week during term time – Online CPD courses included

Pastoral Support Coach – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:2 UK based degree
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about a career working with children
• Warm and outgoing individual
• Eager to gain first-hand school based experience
