Job summary
A public sector organisation is seeking a Paralegal for a full-time, hybrid role in Essex. The successful candidate will support a legal team with administrative tasks and casework related to property or housing law. Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is required, with immediate availability preferred. Join a supportive team in this temporary position.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Legal Assistant or Paralegal role is required.
- Experience supporting property or housing lawyers is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support the legal services team with various administrative tasks.
- Undertake casework in the area of property or housing law.
Skills
Our client, a public sector organisation in Essex is seeking a Paralegal to join their team for an anticipated period of 3-6 months+, pending permanent recruitment.
The successful candidate will be required to work on a full-time, hybrid basis and will be working within a small, supportive and friendly team.
The ideal candidate will be available for an immediate start.
- Supporting the legal services team with various administrative tasks, e.g. liaising with clients via email and telephone, undertaking research, drafting documents, etc.
- Undertaking casework in the area of property or housing law
- Prior experience in a Legal Assistant or Paralegal role is required
- Experience gained supporting property or housing lawyers is highly desirable
