Property Solicitor - Commercial Litigation

Location: Newport

We are seeking a talented Property Solicitor to join our clients Commercial Litigation Department. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of property and landlord/tenant disputes while contributing to the growth and reputation of a well-established firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a full caseload of property litigation matters, ensuring cases progress efficiently
  • Advise clients on landlord/tenant issues, boundary disputes, TOLATA claims, adverse possession, unlawful eviction and more
  • Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings; conduct advocacy where appropriate
  • Draft and interpret tenancy and lease documentation
  • Maintain high standards of client care, communication and confidentiality
  • Strengthen client relationships and support business development initiatives
  • Meet billing, time-recording and compliance requirements under SRA Standards and Regulations
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE
  • Strong background or interest in property and landlord/tenant litigation
  • Proven ability to manage your own caseload effectively
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and client-care skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and commitment to a long-term career in private practice
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
