Are you a seasoned litigation professional ready to take the next step in your legal career? A vibrant and forward-thinking law firm in Brighton and Hove is seeking a Commercial and Property Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its dynamic Dispute Resolution team.

This opportunity is ideal for a Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5+ years PQE, looking to manage a varied and stimulating caseload while contributing to the growth of a respected legal practice.

• Handle a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder/director conflicts and professional negligence claims
• Manage property litigation cases such as lease renewals, dilapidations, rent arrears, forfeiture, boundary disputes and landlord & tenant issues
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk management and settlement options
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
• Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
• Assist the Partnership in expanding the commercial litigation offering in the Brighton and Hove area

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in both commercial and property litigation
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Proactive, collaborative and committed to delivering high-quality legal services

• Conducting negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
• Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
• Mentoring junior team members where required
• Assisting the Partnership in building the commercial litigation offering in the Brighton and Hove area
