What you will do:

• Assess and treat children and adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders within the community.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans, ensuring that all interventions are patient-centered and goal oriented.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, carers, and families to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring the continuity of care and compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to facilitate recovery and maximise independence.

Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and current HCPC registration.
• Recent UK/NHS post-qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
