As a Farm Assessor, you'll step away from the day-to-day demands of farm work, while staying connected to the industry. In this role, you’ll carry out assessments of poultry farms, ensuring they meet high welfare standards. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with a wide range of farmers, providing feedback and guidance to help them achieve best practices.

Location: Homebased covering Cumbria.

• Travel – Extensive travel
• Assessments – Conduct thorough farm assessments in adherence to the assurance scheme.
• Feedback – Provide verbal assessment feedback and create a written report.
• Unannounced monitoring visits – conduct unannounced monitoring visits and review corrective actions for compliance.
• Admin – Schedule assessments, write reports and maintain records

• 2 or more years of experience working on a commercial poultry farm
• UK driving licence
• Willing to travel extensively
• Commitment to high welfare standards
• Poultry experience
