V.Ships Leisure is looking for Chinese Speaking Butler on behalf of MSC Cruises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads by example, consistently conveying a positive attitude, to maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming and pride in her/his work.
  • Embarkation duties: available at the terminal check in to welcome the guests responsible for welcoming them to their cabins and assisting them throughout their stay.
  • Responsible in providing all the information that guests need to enjoy their stay this may include providing information on the facilities available and the services able to be booked, excursions, transportation availability, spa services etc.
  • Responsible for assisting guests become familiar with facilities and controls including air conditioning, location of life jackets, muster station, emergency information, TV remote, safe, light switches…
  • Handles Guests inquiries and complaints under the supervision of the head butler and ensures that they are resolved quickly, courteously, professionally and to Guests total satisfaction.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English (oral and written); additional European languages are a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Butler, Personal Concierge, or in a similar high-end hospitality role, preferably onboard a luxury cruise ship, five-star hotel, or private estate.
  • Extensive knowledge of luxury service etiquette, fine dining, and premium beverage offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide tailored, intuitive service while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide solutions proactively.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing guest requests, reservations, and VIP services.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining grace under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality, luxury service, or butler training.
  • Impeccable presentation, refined manners, and a commitment to delivering five-star service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize guest needs.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays, in a shipboard environment.
  • A passion for excellence, discretion, and a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations.
