A leading remediation contractor is looking for an Engineer for hands-on site-based work across the UK. The role involves supervising site activities, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards. Location: Offices in Cardiff, Warrington, or Theale (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + allowances + benefits

We are working with a leading remediation and enabling works contractor, with over 30 years of proven expertise delivering complex brownfield and environmental projects across the UK. Their operations focus on land regeneration, contaminated land remediation, soil treatment, and enabling works.
With more than 1,500 successful projects completed, they are recognised for technical innovation, sustainable practices, and their ability to deliver end-to-end solutions for some of the UK's most challenging sites.
- Salary: £30k - £33k
- Daily allowances and overnight stays covered
- 25 days holiday (rising to 28 with length of service)

We\'re looking for Engineers to join the SAR Operations team. This is a hands-on, site-based position where you\'ll be working outdoors and supporting project teams to deliver safe, high-quality remediation projects across the UK.
- Supervising site activities and subcontractors
- Mobilising and maintaining remediation equipment
- Supporting project delivery in line with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
- Carrying out site checks, recording accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance
- Assisting with the deployment, operation, and maintenance of remediation systems
- Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
- Travelling regularly and staying away during the week (occasional Sunday night travel; early Friday finishes)
- Ideally, experience in remediation or environmental engineering
- We also welcome candidates from technical / mechanical engineering backgrounds who are keen to move into remediation
- Willingness to work outdoors, and be part of a team
- Flexible with regular UK travel and overnight stays
- Strong focus on Health & Safety
- Good IT, organisational, and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
