We are currently looking for a Mega Projects Managerfor Scotland and the North to help us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and live up to our values, setting an unrivalled standard for the industry.

In the role youwill manage the Business Development Managers within the designated territory, identify cross selling opportunities for all Sunbelt Rentals businesses, drive improved customer rates and help to identify new markets and sectors. Also working closely with both stakeholders and a variety of businesses and sectors who are responsible for thedeliveryor mega constructionprojects.

Key responsibilities
  • Managing a pipeline of Mega Projects across a given territory, utilising appointed CRM system.
  • Presenting and pitching the benefits of Sunbelt Rentals to ensure we are selected for all equipment rental requirements on site, ultimately positioning us, from an early stage, to be principal partner on the designated Mega project.
  • Working tenaciously to identify opportunities and gaps in the market and create strategies to maximise revenues and expand our multi brand offering.
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation, sustainability and safety advances aligning with Mega project requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with all SBR Business units to develop routes to market and increase customer engagement via technical sales teams.
  • Continuously develop the sales plan to drive maximum efficiency against revenue opportunity ultimately ensuring the team is built at the right time to drive opportunity successfully
  • Keeping up to date with SBR product offering, competitor activity and general market conditions.
  • To carryout site surveys to determine customer requirements (or ensure the right business specialist can do so).
  • Compile and deliver reports in and around your business area. These are expected to be comprehensive and delivered in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a good understanding of hire contracts and terms
  • Collaborate with all sales colleagues from across the group.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are maintained at all times.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management Team.

Role is home based with travel required to regional locations
