Transport Development Analyst, remote, gb
We are seeking a Transport Development Analyst to support the utilization of technology, analyze data, and collaborate with stakeholders across various teams to improve operational efficiency, fuel usage, road safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Becoming an internal expert on systems, data reporting, and processes.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity, monitoring KPIs.
- Managing spend and ensuring contractual compliance.
- Using reports to identify improvements and communicate with stakeholders.
- Setting up new service locations in the system with correct geo-fence data via API.
- Providing regular progress reports to senior leadership.
- Conducting deep dive analyses on driver/vehicle activity when needed.
- Coordinating with the Fleet team on van telemetry equipment installation and removal.
- Monitoring vehicle off-road time and utilization, reporting to management.
- Ensuring new users complete system training.
- Managing driver performance systems and policies.
- Highlighting high-risk drivers.
- Developing policies related to van telematics.
- Identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
Requirements:
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths & English or equivalent.
- Experience in proactive data analysis and interpretation.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in transport or logistics is advantageous.
- Experience with vehicle telemetry (GeoTab) is advantageous.
- Transport Manager CPC is advantageous.
