A European packaging machinery manufacturer seeks a Field Service Engineer to cover the UK and Ireland. You will be involved in the repair and installation of machinery, provide technical support, and train clients. The position offers a competitive package with a base salary up to £58,600, quarterly bonuses, and a company van. Ideal candidates will have experience with food industry machinery and be qualified engineers.

An outstanding field Service Engineer role with a UK sales & service office of a European manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the food industry. Fantastic package for the right person.
Home based – covering the UK & Ireland. You will travel and stay away as required, typically 2 nights per week on average. You will also provide technical support in the office in the East Midlands for a week every 7 weeks and stay locally whilst on call.

- Comfortable working with clients on after-sales & training
- Basic salary: up to £58,600
- Quarterly bonus of circa £4,400
- On-call allowance of circa £2,000 to earn total around £65,000

A well established UK sales & service office of a European manufacturer of packaging machinery supplied to the food industry. They have corporate technical support but a small company feel. They don’t recruit often, but when they do, people who join them stay with them. I have recruited for them before and this role is to replace a candidate I placed there who has just been promoted.
