Fetal Medicine Sonographer - Lead & Educate
Job summary
A leading healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Specialist Sonographer for a busy imaging department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Fetal Medicine team to provide exceptional care in high-risk pregnancies, while also fostering a culture of teaching and development. Essential qualifications include a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound and current UK professional registration. The position offers a collaborative environment that prioritizes women's care and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Post‑qualification experience in an ultrasound department.
- Current professional registration (HCPC, RCT, NMC, or equivalent).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Regional Fetal Medicine team for high‑risk pregnancies.
- Provide independent diagnostic reports and respond to distressed patients.
- Maintain quality assurance and governance standards.
