Job summary
A leading procurement consultancy is seeking an Interim Procurement Specialist to support a key Public Sector client. The role is home based, offering £375 to £450 per day for approximately 12 months. Candidates must have a strong background in end-to-end procurement and have completed the Procurement Act 2023 training. Active SC Clearance is required or the candidate must be able to undergo the clearance process.
Qualifications
- Must have active SC Clearance or be able to undergo SC Clearance.
- Experience with multi-million pound contracts.
- Ability to work independently and manage procurement processes.

- Deliver procurement processes from start to finish.
Skills
Cedar are supporting a Procurement Consultancy, who are working with a key Public Sector client, to find an Interim Procurement Specialist. The role will operate INSIDE IR35 offering £375 up to £450 per day. This role will run for c12 months and will be home based – there may be occasional on-site meetings required, expenses will be covered. We are looking for someone who can commence a role in October 2025 and has active SC Clearance (or is able to undergo SC Clearance if successful).
The successful candidate will work in the assigned team to support the re-procurement of a multi-million pound contract. Candidates therefore need to have a strong background delivering Procurements end to end in the Public Sector and must have completed the new Procurement Act 2023 training.
