Job Description
- Source, negotiate and procure materials and services from suppliers.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Plan and forecast procurement needs based on project timelines and budgets.
- Handle contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Work closely with the construction and design teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory standards in the property industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
- Demonstrated experience in procurement within the construction or property industry.
- Happy to be based in Central London office with site visits as and when required.
- Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
