Job description

Michael Page is working with a returning customer who is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on an ongoing temporary basis to support with a project. The role reports to the Finance Manager and works within a team of 6.

Client Details

Our client is based in central Bournemouth with excellent commuting links (both public transport and those who drive). Due to an ongoing project, they need additional help in their accountancy function on an ongoing basis.

Description

As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing high volumes of invoices
  • Clearing the inbox
  • Dealing with queries
  • Allocating payments
  • Raising invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Other adhoc duties as requested by the manager

Profile

In ordered to be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must:

  • Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
  • Be able to be adaptable and work as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have strong attention to detail
