Senior Regulatory Project Manager
Job summary
A leading investment management firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee regulatory programmes like MiFID II and EMIR. This role involves managing high-impact regulatory projects, ensuring successful execution from inception to implementation. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of Project Management experience, preferably in Asset Management, and a strong background in regulatory compliance. Excellent stakeholder management and attention to detail are crucial for success in this fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of strong Project Management experience.
- Asset Management industry experience preferred.
- Experience with regulatory projects such as EMIR or MiFID II.
- Understanding of regulatory trade and transaction reporting.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for regulatory projects from inception to implementation.
- Develop project charters and plans as needed.
- Update stakeholders on project status and publish status reports.
- Ensure projects meet success parameters.
- Partner with stakeholders and senior management effectively.
- Conduct process mapping and data mapping when necessary.
Skills
Leading US Investment Management Business are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to focus Regulatory programmes such as MiFID2 and EMIR. You will be accountable for successful execution of a portfolio of high impact projects. Involving managing business change projects in the regulatory area, working closely with senior leaders in Legal and International Compliance.
- Take responsibility for a number of regulatory projects including trade and transaction reporting regulation from inception through to implementation
- Develop project charters and plans
- Continually update relevant business stakeholders of project status and publish project status reports
- Ensure all projects meet success parameters
- Effectively partners with sponsors, stakeholders and senior management
- Act as a hands on PM, carry out process mapping and data mapping where necessary
- Lead and consult with working groups on operating models and the BAU process
- At least 10 years of strong Project Management experience
- Asset Management industry experience
- Regulatory project experience – EMIR, MiFID II or other regulations
- A good understanding of regulatory trade and transaction reporting
- Proven and demonstrable experience on implementing trade and transaction reporting regulation
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment
