Job summary
A growing finance firm based in Blackburn is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of the finance function including budgeting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in finance management, preferably in SMEs, a strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills to convey financial insights to non-finance stakeholders. This hybrid role offers a salary of £55,000.

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver actionable insights to the senior leadership team.
- Oversee transactional finance ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial controls and policies.
- Partner with department heads to track performance against budgets.
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors.
- Lead on cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory financial requirements.
