Job description
Financial Manager

A privately owned and self-funded Residential Developer with a number of acquisitions and developments in London & the South urgently require a Financial Manager to maintain and develop the financial health of the company and Development team.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
Location: London
Region: London

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and challenge project cost reporting, including land, development, construction and sales and marketing costs.
  • Produce detailed financial appraisals for individual projects to be in line with the company’s wider financial strategy.
  • Be responsible for all due diligence of the development, including financial control, monthly cash flow analyses including variances, real time appraisals, VAT, and other taxes.
  • Draw-down document preparation for project funding.
  • Advise on potential reporting structures to ensure accurate live project reporting.
  • Sales and build projection analyses – sales rates v build rates.

The ideal candidate will have worked for a residential developer, private equity developing fund, or have exposure to financial control and analyses of developing apartments and mixed-use residential led schemes.

You will need to be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified, have a proven track record of working in a similar type role for 3 or more years, have good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures, as well as advanced MS Excel skills.
