Four Square are looking for a contractor to act as a Reflective Practice Group Practitioner for approximately 5 hours per month.
The Reflective Practice Group Practitioner will engage with the staff across our homelessness accommodation services in a continuous process of analysing their experiences, actions, and decisions to improve their professional practice and personal growth. They will work together to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement, using structured methods or tools to facilitate this reflection.
The closing date is 2nd May but we are looking to fill this role as soon as possible, therefore, we reserve the right to withdraw the post should a suitable contractor be found.
Four Square Homelessness Charity are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community-Based Practitioner, specialising in homeless prevention. In this role, you will focus on proactive measures to prevent homelessness within the community by providing support, resources, and advocacy to individuals at risk. The ideal candidate will be proactive, empathetic, and can lone work in the community.
Our Homeless prevention services are designed to address and mitigate the factors that can lead individuals and families to become homeless. The primary purpose of the service is to intervene before people lose their homes, providing support and resources to help them maintain stable housing and support to get a home.

Purpose of the service
Is to address the unique and complex needs of individuals who are experiencing both homelessness and abuse. This service aims to provide support, protection, and resources to survivors of domestic abuse and gender-based violence who are also facing the challenges of homelessness.
Purpose of Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse and Gender-Based Violence Practitioner with a focus on individuals experiencing homelessness. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing specialized support and advocacy for those facing the intersection of domestic abuse, gender-based violence, and homelessness.

Due to the nature of the service, applications are invited from women only, the post is exempt under the Equality Act (2010).
This is a weekend position, the hours of work are Saturday and Sundays, working 8 hours per day between the hours of 7.30am and 10pm.

Located in Leith, the Community provides supported accommodation and mental health support for up to four people as they make the transition from hospital care back into the community. Our Community model is based on Cyrenians core values, prioritising trusted relationships and putting the person at the heart of the decisions which matter most to them.

You will be experienced in providing high quality support and be able to work at the pace of the individual.
The role will work primarily during the day on weekdays and as it is part time could suit someone who has other work, learning or personal commitments.

You’ll be joining an experienced and knowledgeable team who will give you full training on all aspects of your role. You’ll also have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
