An international organization in London is looking for an Outreach Coordinator to manage outreach activities for Blue Charter member countries. The successful candidate will also oversee the Commonwealth Blue Charter Incubator Grants and support strategic planning efforts. The ideal applicant will have a relevant degree and at least five years of experience in project coordination and outreach. A good understanding of ocean issues is desirable. We have an outstanding opportunity in our Climate Change and Ocean Directorate for an Outreach Coordinator (Blue Charter).
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating outreach amongst Blue Charter member countries and partners, assisting the organisation of Blue Charter meetings, and project management of the Commonwealth Blue Charter Incubator Grants Programme. They will also be required to contribute to strategic planning discussions for the Commonwealth Blue Charter, particularly concerning outreach and coordination.

To be considered you must have a first degree in Business Administration, Law, Political Science, Environmental Science/Policy, a Social Science, Communications or similar, plus a minimum of five years of combined experience in project coordination, outreach, communications, grant management or external relations activities, preferably gained in an international development setting.
A good understanding of ocean issues, experience of working with one or more Commonwealth governments, and/or experience implementing grants is desirable.
