Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results‑oriented Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition within a portfolio of strategic accounts. This role is exclusively focused on prospecting, qualifying, and closing new opportunities, positioning Macrobond’s market‑leading economic and financial data solutions to meet the needs of investment professionals, government institutions, and corporate clients.

This is a pivotal role for Macrobond as we expand our presence in the Continental Europe, offering the opportunity to contribute directly to our growth and success.

Job Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Proactively target and acquire new clients by identifying market trends and key industry opportunities. Present Macrobond’s platform capabilities to prospects, demonstrating the value of our integrated data and analysis tools.
  • Account Management: Build strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while uncovering upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. Collaborate closely with customer success and support teams to maintain and grow client accounts.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a regional sales plan that aligns with Macrobond’s global strategy. Leverage market intelligence to identify opportunities in specific sectors, regions, or themes that align with Macrobond’s data offerings.
  • Solution Selling: Understand client challenges and requirements to offer tailored solutions using Macrobond’s data products, including API integrations and automated workflows. Provide demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts, and support in closing deals.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing, product, and research teams to ensure clients have access to Macrobond’s chart packs, thematic analysis, and weekly market insights.
Required Qualifications and experience
  • Hands‑on strategic B2B sales experience, preferably within SaaS and financial services.
  • Has experience in selling into Continental Europe.
  • Experienced, proactive and strategic solutions sales professional with a track record of success selling software or data‑driven solutions to the investment community, ideally, economists, analysts and strategist from banks and asset owners and managers.
  • Track record of achieving/exceeding sales quota and market share goals.
  • Excellent networking ability.

  • Self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Language Skills like Spanish, Portuguese and French.
