Remote - travel 2-4 days per month

We are working with an established consultancy made up of a passionate team of technologists and problem solvers dedicated to helping manufacturers transform their operations. By combining front‑line expertise, modern technologies, and industrial know‑how, they deliver solutions that make a tangible difference on the shop floor.

As a Manufacturing Solutions Engineer, you will work directly with customers and as part of their manufacturing solutions team to design, build, and implement digital solutions using their front‑line operations platform (Tulip). You will bridge the gap between technology and manufacturing operations, ensuring that solutions are practical, intuitive, easy to use, and impactful.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on solution building, collaborating with operators and engineers, and leveraging low‑code platforms to solve complex manufacturing problems.

Required Skills & Experience
  • A practical problem solver with a passion for using data & technology to solve operational challenges
  • Proven experience delivering digital solutions in a manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of shop floor operations, industrial processes, and operator workflows
  • Hands‑on experience with the Tulip platform or other similar no‑code / low‑code platforms (Power Apps, Bubble, Mendix, etc.)
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into practical operator‑facing solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, comfortable in customer‑facing environments
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with manufacturing business and operational systems (e.g. MES, SCADA, ERP)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or related process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Understanding of data and business intelligence capabilities and how they can be used to drive continuous improvement
  • Understanding of industrial connectivity (PLC, sensors, IoT devices) and their integration with manufacturing systems and data platforms
  • Software development experience useful but not essential

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a company that has gone from strength to strength.

The role is based remote, with expectations to travel to clients 2-4 days per month depending on requirements.
