LevertonHELM manufactures a range of lithium chemicals which are sold throughout the world. It is now expanding rapidly due to the growth of the Lithium‑ion battery sector and has an excellent reputation for reliability and providing high quality products.

About the role

The EMEA Sales role is a high‑impact, deal maker position within the Specialities business, requiring a blend of commercial acumen, and cross‑functional influence to drive revenue growth, margin enhancement, customer engagement and channel management for the Specialities portfolio. The role will execute regional go‑to‑market strategy aligned with global business objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • Execute the regional commercial growth strategy for EMEA
  • Manage and grow strategic key accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders
  • Deliver the annual operating plan (revenue, volume, margin, growth targets) for the region
  • Transition customer relationships and contracting from spot to multiyear agreements
  • Lead regional initiatives to develop and implement value‑based pricing strategies
  • Conduct market and competitor intelligence
  • Work cross‑functionally
  • Ensure use of proper sales tools and process discipline
Required Skills
  • Strong commercial acumen including revenue and margin management, value selling vs commodity, pricing strategy, Go‑To‑Market execution
  • Strong negotiation skills experience leading regional or multi‑country sales teams, developing talent, driving performance
  • Technical or application knowledge of speciality chemicals and ability to translate product features into customer value
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills both with senior customers and internal stakeholders across geographies/cultures
  • Ability to operate across diverse EMEA markets, adapt strategy and communication style to local markets, willingness to travel
  • Process discipline and commercial governance: maintaining opportunity pipelines, pricing approvals, contract management
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Business Administration or equivalent. A Master's or MBA is a plus and/or combination of education and related experience.
Experience
  • Demonstrable experience of commercial / sales experience in the speciality chemicals or performance materials industry
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue, margin and growth targets in EMEA or global markets; experience managing key accounts, distributor networks and multi‑country sales operations
  • Experience operating in a matrix organization and driving cross‑functional collaboration (R&D, marketing, supply chain, finance)
  • Strong travel flexibility and willingness to spend significant time in‑market
  • Extensive knowledge of and proficiency with project management tools (Gantt charts), and Microsoft applications including: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
