Job summary
A fast-growing tech company in Greater London is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to enhance the security of their applications, APIs, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in cybersecurity and will be familiar with OWASP, cloud security, and various security tools. This role offers excellent career progression and the chance to work in an innovative environment. Hybrid work structure available.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity, application security, or cloud security roles.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and API security.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline hardening.
Responsibilities
- Lead the security of applications, APIs, infrastructure, and data.
- Identify vulnerabilities and define best practices.
- Implement controls effectively to avoid slowing delivery.

This is a challenging, hands-on role leading the security of their applications, APIs, infrastructure, and data. You ll identify vulnerabilities, define best practices, and implement controls without slowing delivery
Essential:
- At least 3yrs in cybersecurity, application security, or cloud security roles
- Strong knowledge of web/mobile security (OWASP Top 10, API security), cloud security (AWS), and CI/CD pipeline hardening
- Familiar with SAST/DAST tools, vulnerability scanners, penetration testing frameworks, and monitoring platforms (e.g. Splunk, ELK, Datadog)
- Understanding of GDPR and data privacy best practices
