As a Food and Beverage Team Member at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. This involves supporting residents in choosing their meal options, ensuring dining tables are set according to standard operating procedures, keeping the front of house clean and tidy, and replenishing fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods, and fresh fruits throughout the day. You will also need to be aware of residents' dietary requirements.

About the role

Your role involves supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. Additional responsibilities include:

• Supporting residents in choosing their meal options.
• Ensuring dining tables are set to standard operating procedures.
• Keeping the front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented.
• Ensuring crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Providing fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods, and fresh fruits in the bistro areas.
• Being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

About you

To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability. Ideally, you will have:

• High standards of personal hygiene.
• Experience in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel (desirable).
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate (beneficial).
• Compassion and commitment to delivering excellent culinary services to residents.
