We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and community-minded Club Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our well-established Working Men’s Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operations, staff, finances, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for members and guests.
- Overall management of the club’s daily operations
- Managing and supervising bar and club staff
- Stock control, ordering, and supplier liaison
- Financial management including tills, banking, and reporting to the committee
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and club policies
- Organising and promoting events and entertainment
- Maintaining high standards of customer service
- Acting as the main point of contact between staff, committee, and members
- Proven experience in club, bar, or hospitality management
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Good financial and administrative ability
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A good understanding of licensing regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event nights
- A friendly, professional approach with a strong sense of community
