2 Personal Assistants are required to help in and around the home with some caring responsibilities for an individual following a stroke.

There are 2 vacancies for 30 hours per week. Must be flexible but rota would be provided in advance.

• Help with morning routine
• Food and drink preparation
• Assist with toileting
• Cleaning around the home

• Experience in assisting people with paralysis

A fun and 80’s music loving male, who in December 2024 suffered a catastrophic stroke which resulted in the loss of communication and right-side paralysis. Despite the lack of communication and paralysis he brings joy to the day with his sense of humour. He is a family man, has a wife, 2 daughters and a son in law.

Loves classic cars and watching films and TV series.

Do I smoke? - No

Can PA smoke during work hours? - Yes

What pets do I have and how many? - 1 dog

Do I need support with my pets? - Occasionally letting the dog into the back garden to go to the toilet.

• Micro Provider & Self Employed PA’s Rate of Pay (£/per hour) - £15.60
• Hours Per Week - 30 hours a week. 2 vacancies at 30 hours each.
• How will the hours be used - To be available 7 days a week but rota will be provided in advance (3 x 10-hour shifts but flexibility needed).
