A dedicated education recruitment agency is seeking a passionate Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a SEND provision in a welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets. The role, running from January to July 2026, involves delivering structured teaching to children with complex needs and supporting their individual learning plans. The ideal candidate should have HLTA qualifications or significant experience, adaptability, and a passion for fostering academic and emotional growth in students. - HLTA qualification or extensive teaching assistant experience with confidence in whole-class teaching.
- Strong background in supporting children with complex SEND including ASD and communication needs.
Responsabilités
- Deliver daily teaching within the SEND class using structured and nurturing approaches.
- Collaboratively plan lessons ensuring individual needs are met.
- Lead small-group interventions focusing on communication and life skills.
- Use visual and sensory strategies effectively to support learning.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment.
