A leading financial institution is seeking a Data Governance Analyst – Data Controls to oversee governance activities and improve data quality. Responsibilities include engaging stakeholders, conducting analysis, and maintaining data standards. Candidates should possess strong data management knowledge and communication skills. This role is hybrid, based in Northampton or Knutsford.
Join us as a Data Governance Analyst – Data Controls at Barclays, where you’ll be responsible for overseeing data governance activities with a strong focus on data controls. In this role, you’ll identify and understand data-related issues across various systems and processes, carrying out in-depth analysis to uncover trends and root causes. You’ll summarise complex findings in clear, non-technical language that can be easily understood by a broad range of audiences. Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure data standards are maintained and continuously enhanced, helping to improve data quality, consistency, and compliance throughout the organisation.

This is a hybrid role and can be based in either Northampton or Knutsford.
To enable effective data governance, risk management, and compliance within the bank, acting as a liaison between business units and the Data & Records Management (DRM) function, translating business needs into actionable strategies and ensuring efficient implementation of DRM.
