A leading transport service provider in South Ockendon is seeking HGV Drivers to join their team. Duties include driving safely and meeting delivery deadlines. Candidates must possess a Full UK driving licence and a valid CPC & tacho card. Competitive annual earnings of approximately £56,000 with a variety of benefits including paid breaks and ongoing training. This is a permanent role subject to a probation period.

We strive to be the industry leader and deliver best in class levels of safety, service, and efficiency. Our Transport division combines over 50 years of construction logistics and haulage expertise.
We are currently recruiting for drivers to join our team on the following shift pattern - Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.
- Annual salary: Approximately £56,000 a year (based on a 50-55 hour working week with 2 additional weekend shifts every 3 weeks, plus driver allowances where applicable)
- Hourly Rate: £14.50 basic rate (rising to £15.00 after 18 months and £15.50 after 36 months), £15.50 night rate (hours between 6pm and 6am)
- C+E Licence Required.

- 12 month previous flatbed experience required
- Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations and road safety standards while operating the vehicle
- Have construction logistics knowledge /experience (preferred)
- Have good communication skills to quickly understand instructions including movement orders and liaise effectively with colleagues and customers
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid CPC & tacho card
