Job summary
A global travel management company is seeking Out of hours business travel consultants to work remotely. Responsibilities include handling calls and emails from UK and US clients, offering travel advice, and utilizing Sabre for ticketing. Ideal candidates will have Sabre knowledge and strong customer service skills. Competitive salary up to 41k plus benefits.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Sabre is essential.
- Good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and emails from clients in a polite and professional manner.
- Offer expert advice in all aspects of travel.
- Issue and re-issue tickets using Sabre.
Skills
Business travel consultants - Out of hours. Required for this global TMC. The role is homebased. They are looking for 2 Out of hours business travel consultants with Sabre experience. Salary up to 41k plus benefits. Shifts listed below but some flexibility will be required.
- Working out of hours, answering calls and emails from clients in a polite, efficient, and professional manner. Dealing with both UK and US clients
- Offering expert advice in all aspects of travel
- Maintain the outstanding level of customer service provided by the ‘day’ team
- Work as part of an efficient team, communicating effectively both internally and externally
- To issue, re-issue and perform re-calculations of international and domestic airfares using Sabre
- Sourcing the best and most cost-effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel and all ground product
- Previous Out of hours experience is ideal but not essential
- Knowledge of Sabre is essential
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Possess good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines
- Be on the pulse with world events and likely travel implications
- They are looking for 2 people
- Shifts: Sat-Sun 8pm to 8am; Mon-Tue 8pm to 8am; Thurs 6pm to 12 midnight; Fri 6pm to 12 midnight
