A great opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join a busy finance team within a chilled food manufacturing business.

This fresh and chilled food manufacturing business have experienced exceptional growth even through COVID and whilst other businesses have downsized, this company offer a great mix of value and quality that consumers love.

This Financial Accountant role sits within a small but very busy team where you will need to produce timely and accurate monthly accounts information, periodic forecasts, and budgets.

The role has a focus on reporting on business performance; supporting the Cost Centre managers in identifying cost saving initiatives by providing data metrics, Cash flow management and bank contact, Financial accounting including primary contact with HMRC for VAT, and statistical returns.

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and have PQ experience within a manufacturing environment. If you are keen to expand your experience on business software and reporting applications, you'll be able to work on these with BC, SQL, PowerBI, and Office365.

This is a fast-moving fresh produce business, this means they have a high stock turnover due to the short shelf life of products so being decisive, pro-active, and assertive is a must when looking to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
