We are supporting a well‑established international food manufacturer as they expand their operations in Buckingham for 2025. As part of this growth, we are recruiting a Hygiene Team Leader to join their new night‑shift operations team.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality across the site, while leading and developing a small team of Hygiene Operatives.
Direct Reports: 2 x Hygiene Operators
Salary: £33,000 + 25% shift allowance
Shift: Monday to Friday, 22 : 00 06 : 00
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week (includes paid break)
As the Hygiene Team Leader, you will oversee all nightly hygiene activities to ensure cleaning tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with food safety standards. You will allocate work, champion food safety, support audits, and lead investigations into hygiene‑related non‑conformances.
You will also act as the senior point of contact on night shift, representing the site professionally and delivering clear handovers to day teams.
