Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Stores Person and Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver for a temp-to-perm role in Coatbridge. In this position, you'll operate counterbalance forklifts for loading and unloading materials, maintain an efficient workflow by stacking stock, and follow safety procedures. Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Stores Person, Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join a well‑established and growing client based in Gartcosh. - Operating Counterbalance forklifts to safely load, unload and move materials
- Transporting goods across the warehouse or production facility
- Stacking and organising stock to maintain an efficient workflow
- Carrying out basic forklift checks and reporting any issues
- Following all health & safety procedures to keep the workplace safe
- Supporting with inventory tasks by accurately recording stock movements
- Assisting the wider team with general warehouse duties as required
- A valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Proven experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Solid understanding of safe forklift operation
- Good ability to read work orders, safety guidelines and instructions
- Strong spatial awareness and confidence operating in tight spaces
- Good levels of physical fitness and stamina
- A positive communicator and a reliable team player
