To work as part of the Facilities Services Team within the Community Hospitals to carry out a range of duties associated with the provision of professional cleaning and patient support activities.

Responsibilities

To contribute to the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors to ensure the highest standards are met at all times. The post holder must respect patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality and comply with Trust Infection Control Policies. Conduct themselves to minimise the risk of healthcare-associated infection. You will need to be passionate about cleanliness and keen to ensure our patients receive good quality food and beverage services. You should be prepared to be flexible and enthusiastic with a real desire to provide the best possible environment for our patients and visitors. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working as part of a team but feel happy and confident enough to take on challenges and to work unsupervised when required. Although previous hospital experience is not essential you should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate previous experience in a cleaning environment.
