Qualifications

Job Description

This is a full‑time, site‑based role at Hinkley Point C. We can only consider candidates within commutable distance of Bridgwater or those willing to relocate, with support available to assist the move.

You will support the commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems. The role combines hands‑on testing with structured preparation activities. You will develop practical commissioning capability in a highly regulated environment.

  • Support commissioning activities for mechanical plant and equipment
  • Assist with execution of mechanical testing and functional checks
  • Contribute to commissioning procedures and test documentation
  • Support fault identification and resolution during testing activities
  • Interface with construction, installation, and operations teams
  • Assist with system handover evidence and readiness documentation
  • Apply strong safety behaviours during all site activities
Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Though it would be great if you have experience in nuclear, it is by no means essential! If you have experience in a highly regulated environment, we want to hear from you.

It is also important to know that its rare for the perfect candidate to exist. If you feel like you have 70% - 80% of the required skills, please don’t hesitate in replying.
