We’re looking for people with great customer service and communication skills to join us as sales consultants at Co‑op Legal Services. We offer accessible legal advice and support around later life issues – without the jargon. You’ll work in our estate planning team; helping our clients to plan for events that happen in life and looking after their loved ones when they need our support.
In this role, you’ll discuss solutions with potential clients using a consultative approach. You don’t need a background in law to do this job, as we’ll provide full training and ongoing development. If you've got the client care skills and commercial awareness we're looking for, we can offer you the chance to build your career with a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.
At Co‑op, we’re owned by our members. And because we’re owned by you, we can do right by you. So when you join us, you’re not just taking a job, you’re joining a movement. We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:
We’re building diverse and inclusive teams that reflect the communities we serve.

We’re proud to be part of the Disability Confident scheme and offer interviews to disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria for a job. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, we’ll support you.

If you’re successful in your application, we’ll perform some background checks as part of our pre‑employment screening process. These will include an SRA check, credit checks, and a DBS (disclosure and barring service) check. Please note Co‑op does not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
As part of your application, you'll need to complete an online assessment. This assessment typically takes up to 50 minutes. If you're a current Co‑op colleague, this does not need to be completed.
