The ideal candidate is a professional translator with strong expertise in economics and finance, able to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:
- Translating a wide range of materials, including website content, account application and management systems, and trading platforms
- Translating client communication letters, bulletins, and announcements
- Planning and conducting research projects, including terminology extraction and use of a termbase
- Performing quality assurance on existing translations (proofreading and editing)
- Document processing tasks
- Fluent Arabic speaker
- High proficiency in English
- MA or BA in Translation or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAT tools
- Minimum of three years' relevant experience with a financial institution or in finance-related translation
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and a broad range of securities
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
- Self-confident, open, flexible, and able to work independently within a team-oriented environment
