Job description

The ideal candidate is a professional translator with strong expertise in economics and finance, able to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Translating a wide range of materials, including website content, account application and management systems, and trading platforms
  • Translating client communication letters, bulletins, and announcements
  • Planning and conducting research projects, including terminology extraction and use of a termbase
  • Performing quality assurance on existing translations (proofreading and editing)
  • Document processing tasks

  • Fluent Arabic speaker
  • High proficiency in English
  • MA or BA in Translation or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAT tools
  • Minimum of three years' relevant experience with a financial institution or in finance-related translation
