Job summary
A leading legal services provider in Leeds is seeking a Senior Legal Cashier or Head of Finance to oversee financial operations. This key role, suitable for experienced candidates, offers a chance to drive the legal accounts function while ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal account handling and familiarity with CLC Accounts Rules. - Previous experience as a Senior Legal Cashier within a conveyancing or legal environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CLC or SRA Accounts Rules.
- Confident with legal accounting systems and client money handling.
Responsibilities
- Processing client and office account transactions, including CHAPS, BACS and cheques.
- Handling daily postings, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
- Ensuring full compliance with the CLC Accounts Rules and Money Laundering Regulations.
