Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Lead
Job summary
A leading consulting firm is looking for a Finance Lead to drive the Oracle Cloud Finance solution. This person will shape project objectives, assure design quality, and manage the Finance workstream plan. The role will involve engagement with stakeholders, focusing on transforming legacy Finance systems with Oracle Fusion Cloud. This is a hybrid position based in Durham with a duration of 6 months, possibly extending.
Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the Oracle Cloud Finance solution.
- Challenge and assure SI partner designs.
- Develop and manage the Finance workstream plan.
- Engage SMEs and stakeholders for timely decisions.
- Provide expert support on design and integrations.
Start Date: 17th November
Location: Durham
Duration: 6 months + ext
Rate: Outside IR35
Travel: 2-3 days a week (flexible)
- Lead and shape the Oracle Cloud Finance solution, ensuring alignment with best‑practice standards and programme objectives.
- Challenge and assure SI partner designs to meet programme goals and quality standards.
- Develop and manage the Finance workstream plan aligned with the overall programme.
- Engage SMEs and stakeholders to ensure input, understanding, and timely decisions.
- Provide expert support on design, Chart of Accounts, integrations, and cross‑functional areas.
- Transformation replacing legacy Finance, HR, Payroll & Procurement with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Focus on financial efficiency, process improvement, and control.
- Mobilisation and design phases from Nov 2025 to Jul 2026.
- Working with SI Partner under hybrid on‑site model.
- Finance Lead to drive design quality, governance, and milestone delivery.
