About the Financial Services Senior Consultant Role
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll take a hands-on leadership role across several key accounts. You’ll act as the day-to-day strategic advisor to clients, driving creative, high-quality communications programmes that protect and enhance reputation, support capital-raising or M&A activity, and engage key stakeholders across media, investors and policymakers.
Key responsibilities
- Leading client relationships in financial and real asset sectors, providing senior counsel and strategic oversight.
- Developing and executing integrated communications and reputation management strategies.
- Managing complex, multi-stakeholder briefs across corporate, financial and digital channels.
- Overseeing and mentoring junior consultants, ensuring best-in-class delivery.
- Producing and quality-checking high-level content, including press materials, thought leadership and investor communications.
- Maintaining strong relationships with national, business, and trade media.
- Contributing to new business efforts, identifying growth opportunities and supporting pitches.
Senior Consultant Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a confident, strategic communicator with a deep understanding of the financial landscape. The ideal candidate will have:
- Multiple years of experience in a corporate or financial communications agency-side.
- Proven expertise advising clients in asset management, private equity, real estate investment or broader financial services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong media instincts.
- A strategic mindset—able to connect commercial, financial, and reputational priorities.
- Experience managing teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial energy, curiosity, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
