Job summary
A financial services firm in the UK is looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to manage day-to-day financial operations. You will handle invoice processing, reconcile statements, and maintain accurate records using Sage 50. The ideal candidate should have previous finance experience and strong administrative skills, ensuring financial tasks are completed accurately and on time. Qualifications
- Experience in a similar finance or accounts role is required.
- Proficient in using Sage 50 for financial operations.
- Strong numeracy skills with a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase and sales invoices along with expense claims.
- Reconcile supplier statements and address invoice queries.
- Maintain financial records accurately using Sage 50.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Support credit control and customer payment allocations.
- Prepare and manage payment runs as necessary.
- Assist in budgeting and financial analysis tasks.
- Provide general finance support to the Accounts team.
