Job summary
A fast-growing organization in Newmarket is seeking an ambitious Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will get hands-on experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment, focusing on tasks such as processing sales invoices, managing credit control, and preparing payments. To qualify, candidates should be studying towards their AAT, possess experience with Sage 200 and Xero, and have excellent communication skills. This fully on-site position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
Qualifications
- Currently studying towards your AAT qualification.
- Experience with Sage 200 and Xero is required.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Responsibilities
- Process and post sales invoices ensuring compliance.
- Help monitor accounts and send reminders for overdue payments.
- Assist with preparing payments and approving expenses.
- Keep bank reconciliations in check and accurately post transactions.
