Job summary
A charitable organization in Cardiff seeks a Finance Support role to assist the Finance Team in providing effective services. Responsibilities include managing incoming finance mail, processing petty cash requests, and reconciling receipts. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance tasks, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to support operational colleagues efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience in handling finance-related tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a finance team.
- Strong attention to detail in processing invoices.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and effective service within Finance.
- Support operational colleagues in finance dealings.
- Reconcile receipts to petty cash requests.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
To work in co-operation with the Finance Team to provide an efficient and effective service within Finance and to Llamau as an organisation. To provide support to operational colleagues in their dealings with finance.
- Opening, recording and allocating of incoming post, and making finance mailbox allocations.
- Prepare petty cash requests for collection by staff.
- Reconcile receipts to petty cash requests and prepare journal for posting
- Chase up and process organisation Credit Card on Credit Card Portal for loading into Access.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders, delivery notes & checking discrepancies
- Coding invoices
- Entering invoices on finance system.
- Chasing up missing Purchase Orders and Invoices
