Job summary
A specialized recruitment agency is seeking a Finance Assistant for their Dorking office. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting transactions and credit control. Qualifications
- Experience of working in a busy accounts department with similar tasks.
- Ideally studying AAT.
- Knowledge of SAGE 50 is useful but not essential as training will be given.

Location: Dorking, Surrey
The Finance Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the day to day processing of accounting transactions and credit control for the business. You will ideally have experience of Sage and be used to working in a finance or accounts function. Close attention to detail, honesty and integrity are essential in this role
- Must be numerate and enjoy working with numbers
- Experience of working with one or more computerised accounting packages
- Must be IT literate with a working knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
- Close attention to detail and accurate working is essential

- Positive attitude and a desire to find solutions to problems as they arise
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organisational & planning skills with the ability to identify priorities and self-manage workload
- Ideally studying AAT
- Knowledge of ACCESS Dimensions and SAGE 50 would be particularly useful but not essential as training will be given
- Must have 3 or more years’ experience of working in a busy accounts department with responsibility for similar tasks
